Hi Jayne,

Which surgeon did you go to for the buccal fat removal? And how much did it cost?

Did the surgeon advise how long would it take to recover? Im quite interested in this surgery but a bit worried as i heard there's kind of a nerve in that area plus in case the cheeks get very swollen. Did yours get extremely swollen after surgery?

Is it after the bucal fat removal, you would get that "sunken" cheek look? like the model Kate Moss? I like her sunken cheeks n find that they look cool!

Hope to hear from you soonest.

Cheers. :)

Hi babyangel,
Dr Chi,he charges 10,000 baht.I did read up a little about damaging the nerves around that area but if done by a experience surgeon than I think this surgery can be quite save.Swelling was worst from the second day onwards for 3 to 4 days than it start to subside.I do not have the sunken look but my face look slimmer.(i always have chubby face) You can try sucking your cheek in and see whether you get the sunken cheek after buccal fat removal. This is the simple test you can do before deciding.

Hi Jayne,

Thanks so much for the info.

Can you give me Dr Chi's website?

You mentioned in your earlier post that your right cheek felt hard to the touch n it was lumpy. How is it now? Have both your cheeks recovered?

Are you able to PM me your Before n After pics of your cheeks? You can cover the eyes n other features if you are not comfortable. Im very keen to see how your cheeks look like after buccal fat removal.

A local surgeon told me that if not done properly n if it hurts that nerve around the cheek area, it may affect the smile or whatever n that scares me off.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Cheers. :)

Here is Dr. Chi's info from the main Thailand thread:

Phi Beauty Clinic

Address: 109 Suphasarnrangsan Road
(located very close to Wat Chiaew Chaang, the large, unfinished Chinese temple on Suphasarnrangsan Road)

Telephone: +66 (0)74 350355
Mobile: +66 (0)87 688 1999; +66 (0)87 688 2999; +66 (0)87 688 3999
(His staff aint tt good with english, so maybe u can either request to speak to Dr Chi directly or email him directly)

Web page: http://hhtc9.com/

This place advertises various cosmetic surgery procedures but seems to specialise in hair (as well as beard and moustache) transplants. This should be quite popular with the majority of farangs living in Thailand.

The opening hours for Phi Beauty Clinic are:

Monday to Friday: 5pm to 7pm
Saturday: 9am to 2pm
Sunday: 9am to noon

Price List
Prices: Rhinoplasty- 8000baht
Alarplasty- 3000baht
Double eyelid- 8000 baht
He does Lipo, lipo filling, chin and breast augmentation as well! But im not too sure of the prices tho =)

I'm facing the same thing too at the moment...it's been almost 2 week. I feel a hard lump on my right cheek...it feels tender and hurt a bit when touched. No issue on the left check. How did it go with yours? Is there something I should worry about?

Hi Anna, who was your doctor? You might want to email him. I did buccal fat removal last year and never had this issue.
