Need Suggestion ....

Hello Friends,

I want to share my issue with you and need your views and suggestion on it.

I have done my M.Sc in computer science and GNIIT in 2005.after that I have started my job as Software Support engineer and then i moved to Testing and worked as Software Test Engineer till Aug 2008. In 2008 I left job due to my family problem. From Jan this year I am searching job here in India but didn't get any chance here.

Now I have an offer from a consultant here in India that he will provide me a job in Singapore in a hotel. Salary is SGD 1000 to 1500 + accommodation and food extra.

I am ready to take this job, because I am not working anywhere.

Now what I want to know is:-

What are my chances to get a job in Testing Field?
Have I made right decision to take this job?

A role in testing in a hotel?

General question, does the 'value in kind' of accomodation/food count towards 'gross emoluments' for visa purposes, or would the latter be geared solely off the $1-1.5k cash?

My ques is because i got an option n looking for it. i got a job of DB assistant here for maintaining records of booking and all transaction made.

my ques is like how i must try there as a fresher or as exp. which will be better..

Did you get your work permit approved for the hotel job? Its your personal decision, but It seems you are desperate to get abroad. Do reconsider your decision. Its not worth it. After the initial glitz and glamour will wear off, you will be stuck with low paying job, expensive living and horrible work life. Its much easier in India.

My suggestion would be hone your technical skills and get a few yrs of technical exp in India before setting foot abroad.
