Advice on living in Tanjong Rhu/Meyer Road area

Hi,

We have been living in Singapore for a few years and consider moving to Tanjong Rhu or Meyer Road area. Our only remaining concern is the noise from ECP. The condo's we have seen are really nice, but balcony and pool area have this contant background noise.

Do you get used to the noise or you just stop being ouside? We like beeing outside and use common area and pool a lot. How is a Sunday at the pool with ECP just next to you?

depends where you are facing, we live in waterplace and have no noise fm ECP. (but my block is closer to tanjong rhu rd side)
we are out all the time, pool, jogging, walking, doesn't bother us
there is construction of the new national stadium which has some noise but not enough to bother us.
