Postby starsky78 » Sat, 16 Jul 2011 11:27 pm

Hi,

Singapore Sports Council have quite a few job advertised at the moment on their website:

http://www.ssc.gov.sg/publish/etc/media ... /Jobs.html

Does anyone have any idea what sort of salaries these jobs, especially the sport science jobs, command? The only information I can find is:

Remuneration & Benefits
Remuneration
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and relevant work experience.

Benefits
Our attractive benefits package includes:

* Five-day work week (except for staff on shift duties)
* Vacation, Sick & Hospitalisation leave
* Other leave types such as Matrimonial Leave, Paternity Leave, Maternity Leave, Childcare Leave
*Subsidised medical and dental benefits
*Group Insurance Scheme
* Sports, Recreation and Wellness Activities/Programmes
* Free admission to all SSC Swimming Complexes and Gymnasiums
* Corporate Passes to attractions in Singapore
* Subsidised holiday reimbursement
* SSC Recreation Club facilities

Thanks in advance for your help.

Why don't you call them and find out? Or are you a shill for them and just trying to get free advertising on the forum?

No shill here!

I have been in contact with them but they have simply said that "salaries are commensurate with qualifications and experience", which doesn't really help matters.

I'm based in the UK and am prepared to re-locate but I would like to know the ball-park figure I could likely expect.

Thanks!
