What's up with the obsession with water?

First we have a dead maid in Woodlands HDB water tank

maybe it's a genetically imprinted justification that water will wash "it" away even though it won't.

And what about the ones that are not found
I'm thinking its really hard for some people in Singapore, maybe the government needs to look a bit closer at what's going on. Suicides and murders, so sad for everyone!

What about the other half of the dude that was never found? His mom made the other half of his body with bamboo so he could be buried "whole". My husband was also commenting about the smell of our water the other day. But the poor woman whose remains were found near NUS--total decomp in just a few weeks. Damned crazy tropics.

I thought the news mentioned that the sections of reservoir where the bodies were found are not used for water supply/under desalting process/etc...
But I have to agree with you about the decomposition part. It is all on humidity...

Yeah, I think my husband "muses" too much.
Maybe he was reading an article about another body found in the water tank at an HDB. I can't keep up with all the bodies these days. Besides, I haven't noticed any difference in the water smell or taste.

Scary isn't it? And we all often hear praises of Singapore being among the top safest cities in Asia...

The half body they found? Do they know how the other half disappeared? Could well have been crocodiles had a feast on a drowned fisherman who slipped of the bank?
Oh, and as addadude, those many years ago, so aptly coined the phrase:

Yep, half a body--lower half no less. That's how they found his id.
ST: The spate of grisly finds started on June 20, when the lower half of a body was found in Bedok Reservoir. DNA tests have confirmed it to be that of missing Chinese national Lin Xiao, 23. Since then, five more bodies have been found either in water or buried in forested areas.
He's the one whose Mom had to rebuild the body. SHUDDER!!!

Secret, lah! Just kidding. I think the only one that has come out was the woman who was murdered by her female flat-mate. I haven't heard any word on what/who/why for the other 7. The fact they don't know what/who/why is almost more disturbing than finding 8 random bodies around town--right?

I got first dibs on pitching the idea for a new police procedural show. What's the contact info for Channel 8? Maybe I could enlist lindsay-the-ex-cop-turned-TV-writer from the other thread.
