refrigeration engineer salary?

Post by Richleeson » Thu, 07 Jul 2011 1:45 am

Hi all, im 23 and im a refrigeration and air conditioning engineer from the UK, im looking at relocating to singapore.
i have over 4 years experience as a refrigeration engineer and before i got into refrigeration i completed a 2 year apprenticeship as an electrician. i have qualifications for both refrigeration and electrics (NVQ's, national certificate, Fgas)
i was just wondering what salary i should expect to get?, most adverts i have seen do not put a salary on.
Also where is the best place to upload a CV for a singapore job?
any help would be much appreciated, thankyou

Sorry to blow your hopes but given my understanding of the local market and situations do not think there is demand for your profile here.

Singapore is a market open only to very low skilled jobs (toilet cleaners, construction workers) or specialized / highly skilled talents.

Afraid I agree with Faelle. Finding a guy in Singapore to fix your fridge or aircon is not very difficult at all (finding one to do it well is a whole other discussion) so there's no chance you'd be granted an employment visa even if you did manage to find someone to employ you.
The salary would be a lot less than you'd get in the UK too. Sorry to be harsh but don't waste your time, it's not going to happen
I HAVE MASTERS!
