good day to all i need help guys im soo depress and so so sad what happened to me..
i got hired here in manila to work in changi airport im a passenger service agent currently im working in kuwait airport i have decided not to go back there and pursue the job offer i had in singapore.. after passing getting the job offer my s pass was applied by my employer on june 09 2011, after2-3 weeks i saw it online it was rejected so sad my agency here are saying they will be re appealing my application but still now no news from them i am a graduate of bachelore of science in electronics and communications engineer i worked with the airlines for already 4years including my stay in kuwait airport.. can someone give me some advice please guys i dont know what to do its like the whole world fell off to me, what would be the reason why my passs was rejected? do you think guys my employer there in kuwait banned me from getting the pass? is there any link between mom on other company for those who did not resigned properly? is it possible? and one more 70 persons were hired including me 19 got their s pass approved they are there now in sg working already and 10person were requested to get aplitude exam how about the rest including me can we also get the request dor the exam? why only 10 were requested for exam? do you think my application will still be change from rejected to approved? pls guys give some boost im sooo sooo sad and lonely im thinking of it too much now.. its already july.. help guys.. thank you sooo much!!

First of all, your degree has absolutely no relevance to your position applied for, so it doesn't help you at all. Secondly, It's a job that any Singaporean or PR could do, so there will be virtually no way the airlines could justify your hire "at this point in time". You should have applied while still in the middle east instead of quitting your job there first. Never burn any bridges. I'm afraid, unless, the local company here has a magic wand, you might be out of luck.

Things are getting rough here for all foreigners.

I'm not sure what aptitude exam you are talking about. But if it's the one given by MOM, it is not the employer who decides who takes it. On the other hand, if it's a test given by the employer themselves, well, let's just say, they probably want to ensure they are getting their money's worth. Having said that, normally you would take that kind of exam long before they apply for and Employment Pass.

Another company? Nobody knows. An application from a new company is a brand new application. But, if an appeal has been filed by the original prospective employer, a new application will be rejected as long as the appeal is pending. It can take up to 21 days for an appeal to be decided on.
