Questions to Ask for Room Rental

Post by injektilo » Wed, 06 Jul 2011 3:19 pm

Hi guys, I'll be renting a room in a condo and am just curious to tap into the wealth of knowledge out here....what questions should I ask the agent/landlord to ensure that I don't get screwed over.

search for the threads discussing tenancy agreements, rates, dealing with agents and the like.

aside from these, ask about having guests, usage of stove (note: light cooking just means boiling water) or washing machine (and clotheslines), who's cleaning the kitchen or bathroom, what you can or cannot stock in the fridge, sharing bills, and what to do in case of a zombie or decepticon attack.

Not sure what to do in a zombie attack, but the latter, run outside and see if if there is a yellow Camaro outside! :P
