EP online - approved status of EP but invalid?

Post by donnieray » Wed, 06 Jul 2011 9:50 am

I checked the status of my application of EP online and it says approved. When I checked the link on employment and related pass validity, it says invalid. How is this possible? I am a returning expat and I already have a copy of the in-principle approval letter for employment pass from my employer. Please clarify.... Thanks

Has your EP been issued yet? Or is it still an IPA?

What was emailed to me was an unsigned IPA with pages 3, 5 and 6 missing out of supposed to be 10 pages

Your Pass is invalid until such time as final formalities have been completed and the physical pass is issued. IPA means "In Principle" not "I have got it".

Yes, I figured out that already on your first post. Thanks so much for your clarification, appreciate it. My case rests.
