Seriously? I can't use "Has Spit" instead of "Spat". Don't they both mean the same thing. I don't have a clue what grammatical structure it may or may not be called as the ole farmboy's critters never really cared as long as they got milked and/or their slops on time. English grammar has never been my strong point and I'm the first to admit it.

No point asking me about grammar either, but it just sounds wrong. Isn't spat past tense? So 'has spit' is a bit like saying has going?
