Craving for decent sourdough
I recently moved back to singapore from london. I am craving for a good sourdough bread. My favourite is Poilane and Gail's bakery. Anyone know if i can get anything close to that in singapore? Thanks.

Hi Kitkats,
you can find decent sourdough bread and all sorts of other freshly baked breads at Simply Bread. They have 2 branches that I know of and frequent. One at Cluny Court, and the other at Guthrie House, 6th ave. I think the Swissbake section of Cold Storage also does them too. Best of Luck!

When I face this question, the answer that usually comes back is... hell, just make it yourself!
Believe it or not even if you ain't a star-cook it often turns as better than what you're trying to imitate.
p.s. Currently looking for a recipe for home-made baked beans as I'm damned if I'm paying £4 a tin for them!
