Very soon, another new girl in town!

Post by NewInTown_Senorita » Wed, 29 Jun 2011 7:45 pm

Hi there!

I'm a 32 y.o girl and I will be getting to Singapore in a couple of weeks to work in hospitality! So I wanted to congratulate everybody for such as awesome forum and for putting your time to fill it up with useful information for all the newbies.

Going over all the info I have seen that is not very easy to find studio apartments, so I wanted to know if it is like that in the practical life as some friends have told me there are really good deals in the local papers, about the area I don't know yet where as I prefer to go around and get the feeling of the neighborhoods.

I lived before in Asia - Vietnam - and know that in Singapore I'm going to have the time of my life, so hope to make a lot of friends around ;)

Looking forward to get there!!!

L

HELLO!
I'm new also (in a few weeks)!
Can't wait to get there. Maybe we should start a newbie association? haha.
I've also been to vietnam, Korea, Japan, all around the world! :)
I am also looking for places to stay, so far I'm considering using couchsurfing.com until I find the right place and meet people in town.

Let me know how you get along in Singapore!
