Anyone interested in forming a beginner's golf group?

Hi, wonder if there is anybody interested in forming a beginners golf group? I am new to SG and hoping to take some golf lessons. Would be great if this could be done in a group to make new friends (and keep the cost down of course). As I am closer to east coast so it is the Laguna Country Club I am looking at. Their rates are published online. Hope to hear from some of you.

Hey guys i would be interested in starting up golf, i have been to a driving range a few time some par 3 courses.
I do not have clubs here, is that going to be an issue?
