School for 4 yr old in East coast

Post by antshu » Mon, 27 Jun 2011 11:07 am

Hello. We'll be moving to Singapore in a couple of months. Can anybody please recommend a good school for 4 yr olds around the East Coast. Ideally we would like somewhere which teaches in English and has a great second language teaching in Chinese.

We do have a 1yr old too, and when she reaches 2 we'd like her to start going to school part time too, so it would be great if the school also had a pre-school attached.

I'm looking for somewhere within 20,000SGD per year per child.

Primary School in Singapore starts at 6 years old. Before that age you may find kindergardens, pre-schools, child care centres, playschools, etc.

We have had a good experience with White Lodge in Katong, and are currently sending our youngest to Columbus with good results so far. There a quite a few pre schools so it should not be too hard to find suitable one. Good luck
