Ah, Thin Lizzy, wonderful. Always makes me think of my college days when I hear them.

Recently I've found myself listening to a lot of flamenco, especially the wonderful Camarón de la Isla. Another huge talent who left us way too soon. Here he is with his long-standing musical collaborator, the guitarist Tomatito...

Camarón de la Isla - La Virgen Hizo Una Sopa

It took me a while to 'tune in' to real flamenco music, but to me it has as much power and passion as anything you'll hear from the old blues masters, Led Zep or the Stones (and believe me, I say this in the most complimentary sense).
Be careful what you wish for

This website is a visual map about the different genres of rock and metal that exist on the planet

basically you just navigate to different parts of the map and click on a genre and then a description of the genre appears along with some song samples
pretty rad I must say

here is it : http://mapofmetal.com/#/home

that whole aalbum is lovely, which reminds me I need to post pictures from the Deep Purple concert on here and write a small lil review which I've been ever so lazy to do.

Could you post the track/album name, plus the band?

As this is an example (for me) of a link that is banned/blocked where I live due to 'media rights'.

But if I know specifically what I'm trying to find, I can always find it elsewhere...

I would have thought Raja would jump in here by now but..

Well, with the words "Machine Head" there I thought it was self-explanatory as it's one of the very seminal 70s albums and there are Deep Purple fans on this thread.

The clip is not a song but a documentary on the album, all 1 hour and 23 minutes of it, and that is the title.

00:00:00 Introduction
00:06:09 "Highway Star"
00:13:22 "Smoke on the Water"
00:21:23 "Pictures of Home"
00:29:49 "Space Truckin'"
00:34:04 "Never Before"
00:45:51 "When a Blind Man Cries"
00:49:26 No Smoke Without Fire
00:56:57 The Beast
01:02:09 Make Everything Louder
01:04:22 Black Night
01:10:26 Keep on Space Truckin'
01:15:05 "Maybe I'm a Leo"'s Off Beat
01:17:00 Break a Leg, Frank
01:18:11 Roger's Machine Head
01:19:28 "Never Before" Original 1972 Promo
