Great choice, one of their 2 major hits. You can really how Yes got their sound on their first few albums. I like both pre-Wakeman / Howe Yes and post-Banks / Kaye Yes.

Here's that other one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kf6HUqiigBA

Did I post this before... don't recall?

'Glid' is a typically smart-A word that my SGn wife would play at Scrabble [gnashing teeth]

Side:Note

A guy thing.

Getting a proper shave.

Fun on a stag-do, esp if you're normally a lazy bugger.

Get a shave, get advice thrown in on shaving, and techniques and accoutrements.

Everything your dad never told you that you wished he had have....

Love it. It's indulgence, but with purpose, and take-away.

p.s. Doh!

So Raj, how was it for you? Some friends of ours went and said that everyone just stayed sitting down (fairly typical for here I guess).

^ Was like that when I saw 'The Purple' in SG.

We were (fortuitously) in the front row... but the audience stayed seated.

In a way the audience never 'get into it' as they would at a free-standing event, as it's like you're at the 'kin opera, or school assembly, on your plastic school chairs in front of all the staff, or summink. Most strange.

I'd be interested in Raj's report (and I hope he had a good night).

Love it, and did back then much to the chagrin of my then GF. (Weird thing with the BB, is that they're the spawn of some of the most important and influential 20thC musicians.... 'when the sons of Gods go nutso...
