Hope you caught the one I posted with Crimson's Fripp's League Of Gentlemen or some other group he had where they were using one on an acoustic (!). As I believe you are a fan of KC.JR8 wrote:Brah: This is surprising and fantastic. I’ve never heard of this E-bow. Slide guitar, sure, but never this. Wow!
Your Walsh link is I think a Hackett link oso. But no matter you have illustrated the point well.
The version of Popcorn that was a hit in the States in '72 was by Hot Butter and after hearing it a couple of times, really grated, but I never heard Kingsley's original version until last week. I think his is far superior, and pretty amazing to hear that kind of basically 80s electronic music being done in 1969.JR8 wrote:Brah: re: the Moog synth track Popcorn... LOL, Blast from the past!!! Around 1973 I was given an album for Xmas and it was something like ‘20 greatest synthesiser hits’, which of course was really very fashionable/becoming mainstream at the time. I seem to recall Popcorn was the main song on that album, and I have not heard it for many years!

p.s. How ever much I occasionally feel I must have 'heard it all', something comes along and knocks that thought right out of my head!
