Ber-limey yes! (took me a while and in steps to get through the hour+ link on a busy day). It's like Irish folk, but they come from Wimbledon?Saint wrote:Mumford and Sons at Glastonbury, something bit different

Ta Saint, I really enjoyed that
p.s. Meanwhile here's some gratuitous shredding I came upon just earlier...
Crazy Train solo by Charlie Parra del Riego (Randy Rhoads tribute)

I respect the young guys huge talent, but if you pick a mountain to try and top, Ozzy with Randy Roads might not be the best one!

Crazy Train: LIVE Randy Rhoads
* Yeah this is my #1 K-box song - 'I alway win ah!'

I was initially drawn by Blue October's Tears of An Angel because of the music, until I read the lyrics and boom, there it goes, off my list...v4jr4 wrote:Blue October - Sound of Pulling Heaven Down

For reasons unbeknownst to me, that song reminds me of Nickelback

And now for something completely different...
The Ruts - In A Rut

Sold this 45 to my Plebs* at school Malcx and Busby for 50p - still to this day trying to get it from which ever of them has it. (Bastards! hehhe... pic sleeve, prob worth quite a few $ as a formative punk track etc... )
* Tea-boys, boot-polishers and odd-jobbers. Paid-for younger assistants from the lower forms. Malcx being a Brit-Malay, and Buzz a Mauritian-Brit... the former always brought back packets of hidiously bitter little dried red prunes, the latter bags of supreme home grown... which the Nigerian housies then went to huge lengths to try and steal.
Like they say, by 18 I'd think I'd seen representative facets of all sides of human nature. By the time I left I felt like a worldly adult vs my non PS peers who seemed to usually have no hinge or grasp on society or their place in it.
'Games people play'.
