Interesting how genres blur. Punk that in the day charted, but was accepted as challenging can sometimes no longer be played as it's 'too explicit' etc.
I hadn't heard this very early [punk?] track in years, and it surprised me in it's bluntness. While all the hippies were off at Woodstock in '69, The Stooges released this - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BJIqnXTqg8I

Cream really were something else.... incredible, I'll never quite 'get' them.... but isn't that it. These days we demand it's resolved each 4-chords; back then plenty never resolves, no 'solution' is ever given .... [?]

Florence LaRue. Smokin' hot!
However, here is my all time favourite from 1969 even though it was released in '68...
SOME PEOPLE TRY TO TURN BACK THEIR ODOMETERS. NOT ME. I WANT PEOPLE TO KNOW WHY I LOOK THIS WAY. I'VE TRAVELED A LONG WAY, AND SOME OF THE ROADS WEREN'T PAVED. ~ Will Rogers
Have both of the original albums bought new. I know, old coot!
Check out some old pics of Florence. Way before it was popular, that girl had "abs" a full six-pac! Small package of C-4.

That, along with Man in Black and Folsom Prison Blues are the three top JC songs in my library. (I've got everything he's ever released). My son loves the song as it fits in with the angst that his band does. Hopefully he doesn't get his inspiration/release the same way. When he does acoustic sets on his own he sings a lot of JC songs. Sadly, him and Caracal parted company two weeks ago. Long story but the same story that happens to a lot of 'front men' in popular bands.

Known the band 30 years, and yet never seen this before. Just wonderful.
I asked Jan (Lead Gittar) if he ever gets bored - the demand or expectation of playing the same 'hits'. His poetic reply was, he never plays a song the same, so no, never.
And watching this, which I just chanced upon at random this morning, I can believe it... endless possibilities....

Saw them in London years back (Charing X Road), early 90s? They did this 'emerge' in mud on stage under Uv lights which was truly weird, very very heavy, and everything after it.... shredding all their kit and throwing it into the audience.... One of the heaviest [genuinely] bands I've seen ... .... are they all dead yet? ....
[as that stuff doesn't come along without very delirious habits].

Fascinating. And most interesting music. Siberian says one website
The song is a mash up between a Siberian group and a Turkish-Dutch guy...
