Classic!!
According to this app on my phone, I've already walked 500 miles. And then I've also walked 500 more. Being the man who walked a thousand miles, I wouldn't want to fall down at your door.

We could start a sub-topic, songs/tracks done in 'brogue'. I.e. songs that are intentionally in a regional accent.

It's kinda weird, as usually when performers perform they suppress their vocal idiosyncrasies to appeal to the mainstream, but certainly not in the case of The Proclaimers where it got played up, and was, became, their identity; their Scottishness.

[I mean can you understand half of the vocals they're chewing out... ?? :)]

A song initially released just a week before the 1st moon landing.
How timely.

'I Wish I Was In Dixie Land ( Confederate Anthem )'

I remember standing in front of former US embassy in Saigon back in '89 and whistling this under my breath... :)
[Yes I know what the Confederates stood for, it was more the simple principle of liberty....]
.... in current terms it's like visiting North Korea, and subtly, internally, sticking two fingers up to the state.
