DynDa - Kerna Dirimu [Official Music Video]

Some arguably gratuitous housey Malay pop, but a way slicker job than most local bands usually manage.
I like the kinda Ibiza vibe in the opening. Great vocals. Yes some pretty well know club-motifs in the mix too. A dozen-15 choreographed on stage at once... deffo not your average SGn disaster music video!

Just heard this the other day and thought it was quite brilliant. It's been out a while and didn't really do anything chart wise but not sure that matters anymore!

Wow, nice one. That sound is so 'time and place'. Perhaps because the overall scene* appeared, lived, and died over quite a short period of time.
* The original heart of the 'Manchester Scene'. The likes of Oasis, who later emerged from it took it in a more commercial direction, don't have that zoned out dream-like feel.

What do you make of it, a banjo pickin version by one of the Goddesses of contemporary music...

Yep. I'm 31 so slightly before my time in that I never got involved in the "madchester" scene but they were my music of choice on my walkman walking to school!JR8 wrote:Wow, nice one. Any cover of a Nirvana song is going to be better than the originalJR8 wrote:Patti Smith - Smells Like Teen Spirit
