Zedd ft. Foxes - Clarity HD (Music Video + Lyrics)

A bit of gratuitous 4-chord House music. That said it is banging, and check her voice! :o The way she effortlessly powers up the scale is amazing.

Oh to be able to karaoke anything like that. Just wow!

Edit
p.s. Surprised myself.
Actually did the vocals of this song, and it's not as hard as it sounds! :o She seems to get the breathing in on a decent rhythm, not too hard to imitate if you have decent lungs.
(Ozzy is another matter, even with 9 litre lungs I struggle to karaoke his stuff... hehehe... )

One Night in Bangkok:
Ah yes I remember that one. I suppose it was around when (mid 80s - check the completely OTT synths and drum machine lol) Thailand was just starting to turn into a viable holiday destination for Brits/Euros, and people were returning with stories of all the various exotica to be found out that way.

re: JCS.
Wow I never knew that!
Good tune, nice voice!

I was pretty sure JCS was a well known classic? ONiB was on the top of the charts in mid 80s so I wondered if there was anything more of Murray Head worth attention. I found nothing. Only later I made a link.
JCS is a rock opera, a full blown album, sort of like Tommy, but not too PR.

Well it was a West End musical (70s?), and I believe it ran for a long time.

But not my thing, and I never went to see it, or any other version of it. I'm not hugely into musicals much preferring film or theatre, but if you really want me to wilt, put me in front of a musical about religion (JCSS) or politics (Les Miserables).

Tommy was one man's mission (Townsend). I don't know if it got launched as a musical, above and beyond the film.. The themes are so dark (incest, paedophilia etc).... it's not exactly a light-hearted night out.

The Who - Listening To You - See Me, Feel Me - Tommy

Incredible music and imagery though!! 45 years ago, and yet so visionary, amazing! hehehe...

Not so easy to define, it's like a cross between punk and 'skinhead' music (the flag, gothic text and fighting dog are 'very skin', the music itself reminds me of punk).

Same genre. Singer of Mad Season was Layne Staley (of Alice in Chains) who of course is dead.

Supposedly 'River of Deceit' was mostly written and then Staley came along and added lyrics. Can read about it here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/River_of_Deceit

Interesting sidenote: I saw Alice in Chains in 1991 when they opened for Van Halen. Many in the crowd thought they were bad azz (myself included) but they were so "different" from Van Halen that they got a lot of booing. Of course they went on to become a staple of alternative rock in the US....

Thank you, they are a '94/95 Seattle grunge band.... and yet I've never had them cross my radar....!? :o [Jeez, I even saw Pearl Jam play the Singapore Indoor Stadium, near on 20 years ago now...].

Nice anecdote. Funny how support bands tend to fly by the seat of their pants. Death or glory eh!! :)

p.s. Alice In Chains, a band that never really crossed my radar. Could you perhaps post a 1.01 representative vid/link? I'd be very interested to hear it...
