IT Project Management job for my husband..

Post by blueskyeh? » Sat, 25 Jun 2011 1:13 am

I am posting out of desperation. My British husband is highly qualified and takes charge of IT needs in a global company. He works in 5 European cities but really his heart is in Singapore - where we just had a baby. We tried so many openings but nothing happened. Does anyone know of any firm, that needs an experienced BSA, Project Manager ? Any one to make recommendations? Or anyone hiring at all? Oh and he just got his PR - quite easily too actually. I appreciate all help. Thank you

If he has recieved his PR, he has no worries looking for job. I am not well verse with his line of work, maybe others can help you on this.
However if he needs to put food on the table urgently, maybe he should lower down his expectation . Some food is better than NO food on the table , don't you think?

Anyway good luck on his job hunting !!

Hi, I am also an IT Project Manager been in Singapore for a year currently. I would suggest he goes to the following recruit ment companies: Robert Walters, Optimum Solutions, GreyThorne, Adecco and Hays. Where does his domain experience fit in? I had a big issue when I was moving here that most companies are looking for a banking specialist. Please send me his CV and will see if I can circulate it around my company and a few contacts I have in the industry.

So your husband is already here and has PR? Has he been working as a ITPM for a while? If so, then maybe he should work his network?

If not then, as Kirpal Singh Sachdev suggests, the agencies he has mentioned are pretty good, especially Robert Walters!

Of course, there are Jobsdb, efinancial careers and monsterjobs which tend to be pretty good for these kinds of jobs!
