Greetings All,
I'm a major shareholder (50%) and director of an Australian web technology (social media) based company since 2009 and would like to move my company + myself + wife + kid to SG. I draw a salary of 8k per month from the company and expect this to rise to 10k soon.
I'm seeking some advise regarding the best route to take. I don't anticipate hiring 2 local employees and having a TBS of 100k after 1 year, since most of the companies expenses are overseas based (including 4 staff).
So is the EntrePass even applicable for me ? Since my company is not new and me failing to meet the renewal criteria for EntrePass.
Would I be wrong to assume that my best route is to incorporate the company in SG and apply for EP?
What about the option of applying for EntrePass then applying for EP once the EntrePass runs it's course for 1 year?
Any advise would be most appreciated!

You should read both the stickies about Entrepass at the top of the Business forum.
In theory, anyone wanting to start a business must go the Entrepass route.
In reality, those with a successful business who want to relocate the business to Singapore can probably do so without the need for an Entrepass.
The gahmen doesn't tell us humble selves much, and, we conclude that a business such as your will be attractive in terms of the fact that it is a web technology business, and that forming a company, then applying for an EP for yourself will _probably_ work... others have done this with success.

Hey Jasone,
Best option would be to incorporate a local co. here in Singapore & then apply for an EP for yourself. With the business module & salary levels that you are talking about the higher ups should at least in theory approve your application. Please do keep in mind when forming your company that if you are not a Singaporean you would need a local to act as a director. You can email me @ XXXX if you require any further assistance.
Thanks & have a great day!
