NS Defaulter want to visit Singapore

Post by singabloodypore » Sat, 18 Jun 2011 4:58 pm

I am a NS defaulter, living abroad for more than 10 years. I was not born in Singapore but forced to take up Singapore citizenship with my parents.
I have since taken up foreign citizenship and changed my name. Will I be caught at the Changi customs if I come to visit Singapore a tourist?

It all depends how your deed poll is being done i.e any surname from the previous name that you hold.
How did you know you are classified as an NS defaulter?
Did CMPB send out a letter or warrant to your foreign residence ?

Hmm.... Not sure on this as your details are sketchy

I hazard to guess that you should be under the radar

Your Foreign PP does it have your surname or whatsoever linked to your previous SG PP. Does it state DOB place is SG ?

If not, yeah you should be ok based on these infos

BTW reading thru your past posts, you have a lot of chips on your shoulder with the Gahmen. I would you want to come here if you have alot of disgruntled with the Gahmen.
One would have thought you would give SG a miss. I am not poking you but just thinking out aloud.

Foreign PP have different first and middle name now, everything else is same as Sg passport. I'm not born in Singapore, both of my passport state that.

What are the procedures at the customs now? Do they take your fingerprint? Picture?

Nah.... you will be alright !! SG has Non Invasive Procedure
By the time you realise, you are in the slammer.'''

Seriously , you should be under the radar.

Just smile and do not look or walk like a PIMP or a DRUG LORD !!

Make sure you have a return ticket and credit card just in case they ask you how will you survive in SG

OK not to go into too much detail

Just observe when you cleared the immigration and pick up your bags, the customs rarely check your bags unless you dress like a criminal , walk like one and talk like one.

If you leave your plane and walking toward the escalator leading to the immigration booths at the ground floor in T1 and T2. (Not sure about T3), there are a few glass panels at the end of the travelator before the escalator, yes ? Guess what there is where all the Officers are sitting and watching. This is call non invasive. I see you but you do not see me

I got this feeling you scared sh*tless but you still want to return to SG.
If you are, you should consider gender orientation process.
