That's just the Orchard road area. Districts 1 and 2 are in thje city too (the CBD) and 6 and 7 are city hall/bugis which is also the city. District 5 isn't that far away either and has lots of nice places to live.

If you restrict yourself to just looking at the Orchard vicinity you're missing out on a lot IMO

Be very careful about mentioning any other property portals or agents or companies on this board. If you haven't noticed, we are hosted and fully funded by a real estate portal. And just like the Mercedes Dealer, he doesn't allow advertising of Hondas & Toyotas in his showroom or parking lot. We have instructions to delete all references to them as and when they appear. This, along with advertising/soliciting are the two biggest no-no's on this board. Thanks,

means they're already working with another agent. sometimes, agents respond to ads so that they'll get a piece of the action. agents mostly post ads for the landlords. sometimes agents respond to ads, for [prospective] tenants.

it's very rare that an owner will post an ad and if you manage to find out, no agent's fee but more legwork for you. but it happens. each with its pros and cons.

If you'll be working close to the Fullerton then that doesn't necessarily mean that you have to live in the CBD or even next to an MRT station. Check out Robertson Quay on a map, you should have a nice building on one side called River Place and one on the other called The Pier.

You could be a step closer if you settled for Riverwalk Apartments (IMO the ideal location by far - can't wait till they finally do an en bloc sale and redevelop it), but they were built around 1990 so you'd have to take a peek inside and see how the apartments and facilities appeal to you.
