Hi There,
Not exactly a newbie as i have been here for about 2 months now. I somehow feel people here in Singapore dont like to make eye contact or being greeted with a smile. Is it just me?
Well if u dont mind a stranger greeting u with smile or like making new friends drop me a note on

if it is in the mornings, maybe they are all still sleepy or rushing to work....little time for smiles :p

..after a day in the Office, I will only make eye contact with the person who is walking a dog (such as retrievers, samoyeds..)

Sales people are TOO aggressive in Singapore!
Its really annoying! I hate being rude to them....but i cant help it :S

Hahaha...personal experience...i don't think Singaporeans are too friendly with foreigners...a friend of mine here told me that basically the only reason why MANY singaporeans don't like foreigners is coz of the fact we take all their jobs

look around..see the number of expats in this country...its a rising number!

You've pretty much got your head up a very dark place, don't you? Most of the jobs taken up by foreigners are jobs Singaporean don't want or cannot do. Most Singaporean shun service jobs as waiting on others is against their culture (so they think).
