Had a Singaporean friend come back from OZ and was selected for random urine test, tested positive, sentenced 5 years. And it wasn't reported in the papers as well.

We are still not sure if it was a tip off or a random check. Tough for you if you look like a druggie I suppose.

Obviously the above doesn't apply to Singapore. Nonetheless, it should get the point across for those stupid enough to break the law in a foreign country, especially one where this is a very strong issue (like most if not all of Asia).
