entry visa rejection

Post by znnwoon » Thu, 02 Jun 2011 10:25 pm

Hello everyone, I went to Singapore and stayed for two months with extension. I wanted to reenter Singapore and applied visa but my application was rejected 5 times with no reasons. Now it's about two months outside from Singapore. Can I have a chance to get a visa again? Can I check why I was rejected again and again. I didn't do any illegal things when I was staying in Singapore. Please advise me how to appeal visa application.

ICA officer must have suspected that you are here working illegally. Buy a return ticket back to Myanmar for back up. Show them proof of finance that you are able to support here. I doubt you can get 90 days but 30 days maybe. You have to state reason why you wanted to return to SG. If it is for medical reason then show proof if holiday , you would not be needing 30 days to stay here for a small island like SG which you can see in ONE WEEK !!

What I mean was entry visa. I didn't reach this stage. I think I can get 30 days social visit pass to stay or deny to enter Singapore when I reach Changi Airport after I get entry visa and go to Singapore. Ofcourse I will show return ticket and enough money. What I don't understand is why I cann't get entry visa. (I applied for e-visa via SAVE). Am I ban to enter Singapore already? Or the rule is a person can't get visa again after 2 months short term visit pass. Please share some information for me.

You cannot use on line as you need a Singpass to do it
Myanmar is under First Level Assessment Countries which requires you to have VISA prior entry to SG

If you are now in Myanmar, apply at SG embassy. It can get better chance.
If you are now in other country, your local sponsor PR can go down to ICA and can appeal by mentioning reason and proof.

Online application no chance! Immigration probably want a face to face talk, with you and sponsor too, if you haven't sufficient funds. Shouldn't really be a problem other than trying online, so apply through your SG Embassy, with sponsors address, or have enough funds and return ticket out the SG embassy may want to see that before issuing the visa catch 22, so leave it to a travel agent maybe. They will not allow you to be so independant, due to risks of you absconding i guess.
