Anybody know a good and less expensive place to launder dress shirts, etc. near city square mall? I think the place inside the mall was around $5/shirt.

Laundry in SG is ridiculously expensive in my opinion, especially how cheap such Labour/service should be. Consider this, it cost be more to get shirts laundered at a local place on an HDB estate in Bishan (c.$3.50), than it used to in prime Notting Hill in London (£1-1.20). Go figure!

I can't advise on City Square. If the price is a concern, then you need to walk around nearby HDB estates and ask at each laundry. Downside is some won't speak English, and most will not do delivery either.

Good luck though.

p.s. In Berlin capital of the richest country in Europe, with all it employee legislation, health & safety laws, massive taxes etc etc, I pay euro0.89 a shirt. :???: :???:
