I'm a Liverpool fan!! I just think Lucas is a turd on legs, and has been shocking for the past 3 years. You can't polish a turd. A few 'decent' performances this season doesn't mask the shite he has been producing year in year out!! But what I don't get is why the managers love him so much and continue to play him. He must have a wife they all take turns on!!

blame benitez.....he sold xabi and mascherano and replaced them with lucas......must be some love between lucas and the managers.......i dont even want to go there.......

I am a Liverpool fan too,
Lucas is bu**sh*t, whenever he has the ball.
Maybe he banks with Standard Chartered,
which is also bu**sh*t to me.
That is why i have not bought the Jersey...

I thought Benitez had already left before Mascherano left. He'd been bleating about moving for a couple of years anyway so you were well shot of him.

Andy Carroll for 35m though, now that is a waste of money

Alonso was the big loss. His passing and his passing accuracy was a cut above. Mascherano was a loss too as it allowed Gerrard to play up front and, to me, that's his best position and when we had most success i.e. 2009.

But Mascherano was a whinging little twat who always had his eye on a big money move to Spain. Although he did work his bag off even when he had signed a pre-contract with Barca, unlike that fairy Torres who was like a lovestruck sulking puppy during his last season.

And now we are stuck with Spearing, Shelvey, Maxi......not the most fearsome threesome!! But to be fair, they grafted in the latter half of the season. And what happened to Meireles? Someone must have slipped crack in his lucozade.
