How does MOM check applicant's information?

Hi guys,

I just graduate from a private school in Singapore with a Degree (hons). I have already provided my supporting documents to my potential employer. I wonder how MOM checks the applicant's background information (education, working experiences, etc).

Does MOM go to my school/my employer and ask for references?. Will the checking process be fast? Coz my social visit pass is going to expire soon.

It will be done when it's done. There is not prescribed time limit nor limits on how in depth they check applications. Some are pulled out and gone over with a fine tooth comb, other are waved through. How long? How long is a piece of string. Make plans to renew your pass or leave the country for 5 days if need be. What ever you do, do NOT overstay your visa.
