Something wrong with the Outlook Express

Post by LooLaa » Thu, 18 Nov 2004 9:55 am

Hi,

Can anyone help me out here?

When I try to forward my mail to somebody else, it will always go like this

To: Cindy
From: loolaa@yahoo.com.xx

Why is it that Cindy's email is always not reflected on forwarding the mail? It happens all the time to my outlook express.

Is there a method for me to correct the problem?

You don't mention if the email works or not when you press send?

It could be possible that you have Cindy in your address book and is linked to her email, if it is sending, if it is not sending, then try to open the contact list and renew the email link. hope i made it understandable

Email does not show at outlook express

Hi KLS,

These names are not on my address book, they just don't seem to show when I forward mails.

And I need these traces of email addresses to follow up otherwise it's very difficult to trace back emails. How can I get it to attach people's emails upon forwarding?

This program just seems so buggy..

I think it is possible to configure the forwarded message, so that you get all the details of the header.

You need to look iunder tools, then message rules, mail and then check the boxes you want included.

Just a guess! may not work.

You could always try ditching outlook entirely and switching to Mozilla Thunderbird which is far superior and free to the home user.

Cindy's email is there, we just don't see it. Outlook Express likes to "hide" emails into names. If you like to see the full email, just right mouse click on the name and them select "Properties". Hope this helps :D
