Applied for EPEC

Post by maverick.topgun1984 » Sat, 21 May 2011 8:27 pm

Hi All,

I am planning to migrate to Singapore and found out from forums that one can apply for a 1 year visa which allows you to search for jobs by coming to Singapore. As the first step to this one has to apply for EPEC. I have just made the application and then realised that will there be a condition that as soon as your EPEC is granted one has to apply for the Visit Pass. So can someone tell me if there is a time frame within which you have to apply for the VP once your EPEC is approved. I am presently in the UK and would like to come to Singapore only towards the end of this year. So want to make my VP application accordingly so that I get the visa from the year end valid for a year.

Please help and thanks in advance.
