Traveling to China and looking for deals. Help, anyone?

Postby Santangelo » Thu, 19 May 2011 11:41 am

Hey guys,

Does anyone know of where to get decent deals (not from the big corporate travel sites) for accommodations in China? Not looking for a hostel either....

Any/all suggestions welcomed otherwise.

Thanks :D

Ctrip is good, but seems like everyone knows about it so surely their prices aren't the lowest out there, or not "Chinese-local" prices..

Hi Santangelo,

Which part of China are you going? Perhaps I can offer you some pointers as I used to live in Shanghai for a few years before coming to Singapore.

You can try comparing Agoda and Ctrip. Ctrip is widely use by chinese locals and their price is pretty decent. When I was in China, I used Ctrip all the times to book my domestic flight and hotels.
