Where to stay when attending interviews?

Post by wannamove » Mon, 16 May 2011 9:12 pm

My husband is going to flying in for a couple of interviews from the US early next month. We are pretty excited as this is the opportunity we have been waiting for. Hopefully he can line up a few more interviews in the meanwhile.

I need suggestions on where to stay? Easy accessibility to as many Oil/Gas recruiters is the most important thing. Not looking for luxury but basic clean and economic options are the best.

It will be his first visit to the country and he will be also be checking out neighborhoods we might like to move in - kid-friendly, accessible and close to the action is what we usually prefer - any suggestions where to start?

Any help will be great

Thanks in advance

If he stays in any hotel in the CBD he will be no more than 30 minutes by taxi from any O&G outfit in Singapore. The country is only 25km wide by 45km long. Most 3 Star hotels will fill the bill nicely.

Excellent example of how one was able to do a fairly comprehensive recon of the country in a week. YMMV.
