is it difficult to find a job for a 50 year old woman?

Hi everyone!
I would like to know how much it difficult to find a job for not the young woman in Singapore? What is the pension age there? What do think employers about such age?

Very difficult.

Unless you had a special skill set or skill set that is highly demand.

Pension age?
Singapore don't have such thing.

Can you please say something more certain about the woman with such age, skills as describing below?

- 48 years old
- have an university education, faculty of computational mathematics and cybernetics
- have experience in testing of sofware related to Information Security systems, TCP/IP network.
- also worked as an IT manager

Suggest that you send your resume to some of the local online job websites,
I am sure that companies here would need a experienced IT manager.

Software coming out of Eastern Europe is sometimes a bit dodgy, so you might have some problems finding a taker here. But, there's nothing stopping your from trying. I reckon the online job boards won't see too much response so you might be better off trying the direct approach. How effective that will be from Eastern Europe is anybody's guess. But, while the odds are success are slim, it doesn't hurt to throw your CV to the online boards as well.
