Choosing an apartment

Post by Sammy2010 » Sun, 15 May 2011 6:37 pm

Hi there,

We are in the midst of choosing a unit at Cornwall Gardens (Holland Road). Facility looks nice and so is the unit. However, we have been told that in Singapore there are un pleasant stories.. any suggestion or words of wisdom on CornWall Gardens?

thanks!

Might it be this.... ?

'A section of the road above a construction site near Holland Road caved in on the morning of May 24, 2008, creating a massive hole. The hole, directly in front of two private houses along Cornwall Gardens Road, measured 8 by 7 metres and was 3 metres deep. No one was injured, but the road was temporarily closed to traffic.[11]'

I would like to know how do people like living in Cornwall Gardens. It looks like a family friendly place with Holland Village in proximity. anyone?
