starting business with Dependant pass

Post by thegambler » Wed, 11 May 2011 4:49 pm

Hello all,

I would like your advice on some issues I struggle with since I'm planning to start a business in Singapore together with a friend.

Me (42) holding a DP since june 2010
My friend (37) is a foreigner wanting to apply for an EntrePass

What I already found out:
- We need at least S$50k (that will not be a problem)
- Good businessplan (working on it)
- How to register

What I would like to know is how to make the first step to be succesfully applying for the entrepass my friend needs. Do we just apply for it or are there more things to do first for having the best chance of easily going trhough this part?

Do I need to (can I) open a bankaccount and deposit at least S$50k?

Do we need to have a certain ammount of "local" employees?

Hope you can help me out,

Thank you!

I would really suggest you read up the poster before you make any comments which will be detrimental to all especially YOURSELF.

If you do not know please be silent. OP is a FT not local
