EP application

Post by BryanSin » Mon, 09 May 2011 2:21 pm

here is my case, for the past 3 weeks, my employer have been submitted my online application for EP and after 3 weeks, the outcome is INVALID, which my employers realized that she didnt submit those supportting documents when applying ( degree cert, etc).

after a day being rejected, my employers tried and help me re-submit which is only last thursday, and today, we check the status again online and there stated that, check pending for vetting agency approval, estimate time 2 month.

i have being issued EP before last year, i own a FIN number, if saying that vetting agency is to check all my education more specifically, will it be processing faster since i being issued EP before? and my university is under the list of MOM application website, which prefixed at the drop down list of university.

MOM make me so frustrating by keep waiting and waiting!!!

You only have your countrymen to thank for your frustrations. They have apparently been submitting forged documents so now they don't take anything for granted. If you are from a country where the university records are not routinely computerized (if at all), then all the checks need to be done manually. And like certain countries, if a certain amount of grease is required to get things done quickly, then it will be even slower as the vetting teams/agencies do not and will not pay grease.

You are just going to have to deal with it.

My degree is from UK, which i think is authorized by MOM because when i fill the application, i can found it prefixed there.

and i do trust the uni, should have electronic devices to track all the records for all of their student.

i just wish everything can settle down faster

I notice that some employers would apply an EP pass for you by stating the minimum salary qualified for such pass but you are getting less than that in reality....Application for Q1 2.5K on MOM forms but actual pay check $2K. Would there be any implications on the employee?

Sure would be implications. In fact, you would be ushered out of the country rather quickly for defrauding the MOM. You are a willing participant to defraud the government.

It means they either didn't submit the application even though they said they did or they have made a mistake.

But my employer status shown pending , that mean we cannot check by myself . My employer send me every week about my status. Last week me and other person shown in company status " pending". In this week , other person shown "pending inputs from vetting agency, expected outcome is 2 months from the date of application" but my status is still pending . I check with my fin no in MOM website still error E0000236 no record found. So I ask my company , they said wait until I get. So please give me your idea. After u apply EP u check your status yourself in MOM website?

No.

Have your employer check with MOM.
