From City center to Keppel Shipyard?

Hi,

I may be looking at relocating to Singapore. I will work at the Kepple Shipyard (Tuas, Benoi and Gul) and wonder in that connection if there exist any form of public transportation from Singapore city center and out to the Kepple Shipyard?

I have not been able to locate this info on the web, so I hope somebody may have some insight in this.

There is plenty of bus & rail service to there, but I would think one would rather live in the west with a short hop to work & back instead of a long one.
