If the frontline staff saif your application has been rejected then it is. I would assume that the online website will be online result ...maybe not.
Your Wife is a PR maybe you should go to CAB on the 4th Floor (I think) and use her to get actual infos.
If it is confirmed then you have to look for other avenues to stay here

it is still pending uptil now.the one i saw rejected was the main application on the feb 2011,maybe thats wht she saw.appeal is still pendin.my wife used ger checked with her singpass
