Employment Pass Status still in pending

Post by waiting.. » Wed, 04 May 2011 12:40 pm

Hi All,

Recently , I got offer from Singapore Company and my company applied for the EP on Apr 13th ,but i didn't get approval till now.

As you guys aware the reason for delay in getting the approval? Are anyone facing the same issue??
FYI , I am fulfilled the eligible criteria.

Is there way to get the track of my EP and other delay reasons without asking my current company's HR.

We as Employees cannot say that we have fulfilled the criteria. MOM has to say that

No only your HR can find out the reason for delay by requesting MOM

Hi there,
Even I am facing the same problem. the company had applied my EP on 19th April. I didn't even find any updates on the MOM website. Even HR doesn't get any updates from MOM till now.

Hi Adran,

I have an idea of approaching the MOM officers directly. what do you say?
I think these are done for election purpose.

Hi,
That was the same reply I got from my HR as well. I don't know how long it takes. I thought approaching them via E-appointment.

Even my HR also told that my EP Status is in pending and she asked MOM for the reason and they said my EP is under investigation and we can expect the outcome in a weeks time.

Looks like waiting is the only way we can do.Hope it will come in next week.
Please update your status here.

Hi adran,
I got a clear picture that govt is doing this crucial play for the election. Even people applied for PR is facing the same problem now.. we should wait till the election result comes out.

Do the know election results date? update please.

You will know who likely won the elections by late tonight and tomorrow noon probably for sure.
