Why do you think that is, I don't wonder! I was amazed at the turn out in USA! Though you know the old saying, it's always better not to know things and enjoy life, rather than know what to expect. So I guess it's not a joking matter for many, as they do know it's not going away.nakatago wrote:I read somewhere that Osama is the person with the shortest death-to-everyone-making-jokes period.

Nobody said it was over. People obviously are aware of people who'd want to get even hence the raised alert statuses. Sad thing is, extremists are bloodthirsty and wouldn't appeal to any sort of reason.ksl wrote:The saddest thing of all, is that there is never a end in these kind of troubles, only escalations of terrorism and more deaths. These people are not looking for peace at all, but eventual victory.
There are probably more terrorists recruited, than the offical armed forces can recruit and they have sympathisers at every level too through immigration and refugee policies.
Nak i'm not suggesting anything matey, other than I believe it's been a very costly affair emotionally as well as financially for many. and it's far from over. Especially with Libya on the go too, to say that these guys are not getting support from major countries, is an ongoing discussion that will have to come to a head, sooner or later, the future isn't looking too rosey at all
