I am now facing some immigration problems and considering using some legal assistance . I have seen on this website http://sg.88db.com/ of a guy named Mr.Joseph Yang ex immigration officer/ investigator who provides services of appeal of permanent resident and dependant pass and ban appeals . Have anyone used his service before ? is he reliable ? Please advise.

I can tell you this. If you use an Immigration Lawyer, you are almost surely to lose AND lose your money as well. ICA does not like people who try to use Lawyers. But, please, don't let my comments stop you from trying.

That's pretty heavy. What did she do to merit that if I might ask?russia wrote:Hi Guys,

Edit to add
p.s. For example being sent back from the border because of invalid visa etc is one thing ('refused entry'). Her being in-country and 'deported' is potentially a much bigger kettle of fish.

I don't have friends in this situation, nor do I want any of my friends in this situation .. but myself have been in near-similar situation like that ..russia wrote: I want to appeal for her to come back ... but i am not sure about the procedures... should i seek an immigration specialist or appeal by myself ...
And for the immigration specialists, they are not useful, as far as Singapore is concerned, unless your english sucks and you need somebody to write simple letters and fill in the forms ...
Unlike Australia, Immigration Specialists, add ZERO value ..

hi guys,,
Many thanks for the reply and opinions . Greatly appreciate it..
So in you guys opinion i should handle the appeal by myself for example write in personal letter of appeal or e-mail to the officer in charge of the case instead of engaging an immigration specialist ? would this be a better approach ?

I've deleted dozens of 88db spammers over the past couple of years. I saw this one as well and almost deleted it as well. The only thing different was there wasn't several of them at one time. In fact, only this one. Therefore I've been keeping an eye on it waiting for the guy to show his hand.......
I just didn't set the clock.

I would take it you meant repatriated

Is this a contravene of immigration offence or regulation, and if the answer is "NO", the ICA wud simple be a sounding board, administraive in nature

And
If it is a contravene of immigration offence or regulation, specifically, what caused her repatriation

oh yes, she is from which country?

You have to be specific:
Is this a contravene of immigration offence or regulation, and if the answer is "NO", the ICA wud simple be a sounding board, administraive in nature![]()

You do realize that this thread is over two years old, don't you?
I reckon it's probably getting near that time.......
