fabien you can visit golf courses to enquire about their academy.. all of them has decent pros to teach you (some are better than others)

I had my favorites but if you want to know those, for not being accused as advertising, do pm me... (and no, it's not me... I'm also just a beginner)

There are a few indoor golf simulators in town--call around and get a good price. A friend got scammed into buying a "package". Some have free trials. I'd say they're the decent ones. Good luck. I've only used my golf clubs once since arriving a few years ago--almost killed myself with heat stroke.

Hi all,

I have been playing for 1,5 years now. So still consider myself as beginner. But I love this game.

Even as beginner you can play Green Fairways course (Fairways drive 60, Bukit Timh). Near the old turf club (importent to tell the taxi driver) ;)

This is a 9 hole course. Thes have Driving Range and pros too.

On the other hand I can recomment the book: "The Golf Swing" written by Ben Hogan. I like it.

Would be nice to join you for a round. Just sms me 98205046

best regards
Mathias

Have any of you seen the guy who has set up the twitter account trying to link all the people interested in playing here in order to get a group together?

l think it sounds good anyway. This weekend i am heading out for my first round of golf since being here with some work mates, we are heading over the malaysia.

I taught beginners in back home, mainly children and teens, but don't mind doing an hour here or there to get anyone started. [email protected] Tim
