Staying in Johor Bahru

My EPEC was approved, but I'm not sure if I can get an LTVP, so I'm thinking about what to do in the case in which I can't get an LTVP. If I go to Malaysia, I will be able to get a short-time visa valid for 3 months, and then extend it only once, so I will be able to stay in Johor Bahru up to 6 months. Is it possible to haunt for a job in Singapore while I stay in Johor Bahru? If I am called for job interviews, I can easily come to Singapore. Seems like it works perfectly. But if I leave Singapore, I might not able to enter Singapore for a couple of months due to government regulations. Does anyone know about this?

Well, you can stay in JB, and good luck if you can pick up a 3 month visa in JB.

You may be right. In that case, I would go to Bintan island.
