Hi people,

Hi was wondering if anybody knows where i can buy large quantity of "used engine oil" (16 tonnes per day). are there any suppliers in Singapore. Any information regarding this would be of much help. Thank you[/b]

I must say that this is a very interesting inquiry. 16 tonnes equates to something around 4 thousand gallons per day.

Either OP has contract to supply MacDonald's with french fry oil, or road tar. Kidding. Interesting to know what to do with 16 tonnes of used oil.

Re-refining like my link perhaps? Maybe a startup trying to do the same?

@ sundaymorningstaple - the link of the company you sent does not sell used engine oil. Thanks anyway.

@ strong eagle - haha..yeah McDonalds i am sure would need more..hehe, I actually need to ship it to India. The oil will then be purified and sold, the oil industry is kind of big in India be it used or new oil.

It is way harder than i thought for me to find this here.

My post was basically to indicate that you would have a hard time here as there is a active used oil business here already, so ready supplies of used oil would probably already be spoken for....
