Licence conversion

Hi,

My wife has indian driving Licence with her Maiden name on it, but her passport and Nric has name after marriage, can she convert her license by providing marriage certificate? (after passing basic theory test)

Should be no problem as long as paperwork is proper.

Yeah that's what I thought, but I called the test centre they said should be exactly same name as NRIC. So I am confused now, I will try going to test centre and check with traffic police counter there.

It will have to be the same as the driver's license uses the same NRIC/FIN number as your residency permit has.
