Post by Jayeff13 » Sun, 24 Apr 2011 3:39 pm

Does anyone use any kind of filter's for their tap water?

I'm fed up of drinking water that taste's like it come straight out of Rochor canal. :(

Hmmm... my Singapore water experience is that it is much better than most cities... with minimal chlorine to boot.

It tastes much better chilled. Fill up some bottles of water and stick it in your fridge.

We have a filter / separate tap but it's too slow so we just refill bottles using the normal water. It's hassle bringing 10 bottles home every week from shopping.

I think the tap water over here tastes quite good. Maybe it varies with the area you live?

Nah, he's probably drinking it from Rochor canal. That or he's got a sewage pipe connected to his fawcets. Sure isn't local water, as it's some of the best water in the world. This isn't according to NEA but to WHO.

I am curious though, as to how he knows what the water from Rochor canal tastes like! :o

I'm in the Lavender area, at first it did taste ok when chilled but recently it's got a nasty taste to it even when chilled, it tastes the same where I work in Marina Bay. Maybe it's just me.

And yeah I ran out of water while jogging one time so the Rochor canal was my only option...

We've bought one of those large Brita water filters from Tangs. It makes the tap water taste much better chilled or not.
